Really? Those metal flakes seem to be embedded pretty deep in the rubber. But yeah the noise is nasty. Only started mid-ride yesterday and I had a look when the noise continued more than a few minutes... Maybe I need to switch (back) to SwissStop.

There's a small piece of metal in my (Ultegra) brake pad. More than one, actually. It seems to have scratched the rim. Presumably this is a manufacturing flaw?

Our friendly killer has brought in three frogs in the past fortnight. I guess one of the neighbours must have a pond and he just thinks they're fun to play with - doesn't seem have any interest in eating them!

Rapha small backpack in burgundy / red with reflective stripe down the middle. Has lots of uuseful internal compartments and with built-in waterproof and high-vis backpack cover. Used but decent condition, all zips etc still working perfectly. Photos below, sorry for the low quality...
