Hi, for sale:
Halo Fixed/Free Wheel wheelset. Black rims, black hubs, black spokes. Front Aerorage, rear Aerotrack with machined braking surface. They were sold as a pair, with the Aerorage representing the non-radial laced option. I bought these from a forum member and have barely used them. Includes Surly 18 tooth cog and a 17 tooth Halo Clickster (also bought purchased from a forum member). They were trued in February.
Asking £85Sold--
Campagnolo Melbourne 56 wheelset, with a fucked rear hub. There was some play in the rear axle and borked the freehub when attempting to naively repair it. So what you get is a set of Melbourne 56 rims (36 hole) with a decent front Mirage hub. The rear hub (unstamped as was characteristic of lower end Campagnolo from this era) is currently useless, but I have all the parts except one pawl spring in case you’d like to try repairing it. Your best bet would be to get a better hub from eBay. The rims have brake wear and other marks but still have lots of life and might clean up nicely. Early 90s era. No skewers.

Hi I'm new to LFGSS so forgive me if I come across as a bit of an idiot
@CJWilliams We forgot to say 'hi, you'll fit right in'. Typically you won't be forgiven for being an idiot without first apologising for being an idiot. Good instincts.
I hope we stopped you from lighting £400 on fire!

No, then. Your best bet if rooted is to unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery like TWRP. You'll then have to manually download the updates from Google and flash from the recovery. I wouldn't expect that many more system updates for the 5x anyway.
Once you root and/or unlock the bootloader, Google will no longer push updates to your device.

Yeah, you're right. My point was, it's not really about who's right or wrong. Accidents happen and can have tragic consequences. I don't like the idea of a rider lecturing a semi-dazed women about looking both ways before she crosses the street and shouting at other witnesses. In both cases, we heard only the riders' points of view in which they assess 100% of the blame on the pedestrian. I can sympathise with the post-accident adrenaline rush, however.
That said, heal up rider, I hope you're ok.
