Bought this a couple of years ago to ride during a short career break - used it a grand total of once before covid shut down the world and totalled all my plans (and everyone else's). It has sat unridden ever since. sniff

I bought it for £1300 - I'm going to sell it for £1000. Which makes the above one of the most expensive single bike rides I've ever done... It's in exactly the same spec as when bought (except it has a garmin mount that extends back over the stem - a SRAM one I think) and I will sell it with a full bottle of Stans tubeless sealant and a couple of unused inner tubes.

Sorry I went quiet on this - challenging week. Can't figure the sizing on this - how tall are you (assuming the saddle is set up for you)?

In terms of measurement pretty much in the middle of the two, but in terms of how it wears def closer to the 007 - it's a 40mm with no bezel so the dial is larger.

(and if anyone wants one I have a blue one boxed virtually unworn - SRPE53 I believe - stickers still on bracelet - which I would let go for well below used ebay prices for folk on here)

Fits you perfectly I'd say - the pelagos has a much longer lug to lug so may well overhang your wrists. I also think the BB58 is more versatile than the pelagos, and could more easily be worn in smarter settings. The pelagos is more of a true tool watch and (for me) more casual.

But as people have said - at the end of the day you should choose the watch you want and don't worry too much about what other people say.

There's a 40mm version of the speedmaster racing - discontinued a few years ago but you can still get nearly new versions and has the 3-6-9 subdials and a date and a better bracelet (and a nice integrated rubber strap). Quite a few colours too inc a (reverse?) panda.

V good condition. A few small scratches here and there as you’d expect but nothing significant.

A bit dusty in the pics but will properly clean it and even use a bit of bike spray to give it that new shine / smell!

Not sure if this is ‘lockable’ as I can’t see a keyhole as such. But if it is I don’t have the key obviously to hand - will check - but tbh not worth it anyway as these things have v v basic key systems and better to run a normal cable lock through the arm rest if you’re going to be locking your bike up in public).

Random question - does anyone have an isophrane strap and is it really that much better than a cheap £15 knock off version from ebay? I keep looking at one for my Alsta but the £135 ish price tag is rather off putting!

Shiiiiit this was my bike that I sold to the original poster. Totally regretted selling it. If I’d spotted this at the time I so would have bought it back. Looking forward to watching that vid!
