New watch day - i wanted a simple everyday, low key watch when I didn't want to wear anything fancy. Already love this - have a 007 already but while it fits fine it's just a bit too big for an everyday piece for me.
@IanF - love the white speedy

OK two more sales - here for a couple of days before ebay. I've decided my grey alpinist wins the day and a definite keeper, so selling these two. Shout if interested:
First, my 36mm Smiths Everest - this is basically new (from the last batch, now sold out). Looking to recover my money on this so £335 (which is the rrp plus the original postage). A lot of folk flipping these for a sizeable profit online but I don't want to do that - anyone who wanted one and missed out here's your chance.
Second, a 38mm Serica WWW 4512 WMB - this is also basically new, and also sold out I believe. They are about £450 new so I'd sell this for £395. Comes on the vintage bonklip bracelet (not pictured but check out their website).

it does hand wind (and hack) but like your experience with the pro it's not that easy to wind as the crown is quite recessed - but this one is an auto so only need to hand wind it if I haven't worn it for a few days. Add in the discreet date window at 6 o'clock and it's a great daily wear.
The other difference is the tachy scale is sloped as you can see in the pic, so it wears less 'flat'.

It’s a lovely watch - I only discovered it by chance and glad I did. Can’t quite pull off a speedy pro but the reduced is too small (and has the chrono module thing). This is half way between at 40mm and has a proper co axial chronograph movement, a short lug to lug (just under 46mm I think), so has presence but fits a smaller wrist. Absolutely love it.

Congratulations @JAHtim!
Before I go to ebay, is anyone on here interested in a Timex Marlin (reissue) in pretty much perfect condition? Fully boxed etc. Original strap in good condition, and will also include a nice tan Hirsch Kent. £100 plus postage.

If you like larger diameter watches but have skinny wrists (like me) then look for ones with very short lug to lug or cushion style cases - the seiko mini turtle might be up your street if you have a penchant for divers (42mm case but only 42mm lug to lug so fits smaller wrists - by comparison the lug to lug of a 36mm explorer / smiths everest is 43.6mm). Worth checking out.

Fantastic four! Never knew about these but they're awesome. And size is spot on.
(Some design similarities to oris chronoris, which I also like a lot, tho obv these are way nicer)
