Lovely.
I did the same.
Finished mine two Saturdays ago.
Just before going to see the new Blade Runner film at the iMax.
That was a crazy, crazy day.
Comme ça

For information rather than boastpost, this is how long it took me

That works out at around £18.00 per hour for entertainment.A couple of things I really love about Lego's approach to this particular model:
1969 componenets - the number is the same as the year of the first moon landing.
The use of multiple colour parts for the internal structure - It means that the illustrated assembly instructions need only have one edition which can be understood in any country, regardless of language. Maybe not so clever for those who are challenged when it comes to differentiating colours.
The level of detail - The blue stands which support the Lego model horizontally, are plausibly reminiscent of those which support the real thing at Kennedy Space Centre
They could've used any old plastic granules that they happened to have lying around, to injection mould those.Lego Kwaliti.

Or alternatively.....
Using an automatic centre punch, punch a deep mark close to the circumference of the sheared bolt. Then, insert the punch into the mark, and punch tangentially to rotate the bolt. I've managed to remove a sheared 5mm Ø bolt from a seat post using this method, so an 8mm Ø should be easy. -

I understand Crumpler's origins lie in camera bagging kit - but I've no experience of this.
As far as their courier / messenger bags are concerned, I think they turf out good quality and good looking kit. Chrome would probably be another contender, but while their products are tough as old boots (my everyday choice of bag) they don't do it for me on the aesthetics front. And they have floppy seat-belt strappage..... -

Have you looked at what Crumpler have to offer?
http://www.crumpler.eu/all-bags/messenger-bagsTheir shoulder straps aren't seat-belt floppy.

Since 2006 I've had three of these (one in each bag).

Not as pretty as the Silca but more than adequately does the job.
I'm not convinced about the claimed 160 psi - but then, I never go beyond 6 or 7 bar.
I think Rutland Cycles are currently doing a deal on them.ETA - I've tried other mini-pumps from Topeak and invariably returned them for a refund as they were utter shite.

Yeah, agreed.
I was hesitant before posting. It isn't a like-for-like comparison.
