Whut? Metal bikes come in all shapes and sizes. The OPEN U.P.(P.E.R.) itself is pretty slack with it's 72,5º seat tube.

Don't know what hubs you're gonna use, but you could machine some thru axle end caps together with some rack mounts.

But you're right, the difference is small. I think a wide narrow rear cog would have been enough for that bombtrack build..

Just look at Froome on his TT bike, you see his rear derailleur continuously moving back and forward.

The point where the chain leaves the chainring will move back or forward.

The whole bike is just stupid.

Spacers still look shit. But most of the time tapered or oversized head tubes come in certain sizes that don't always fit the end user. And thus the spacers.
