really? I have Red cranks, praxis (50/34) rings and a 6870 front derailleur and gear changes are super slick.. Can't imagine having such problems, although I have the newer buzz rings.

I thought it was used for people who "need" an odd size like 121mm, like Chris Froome's stem, and rental (track) bikes.
