Just went down and bought myself one from Paul's on Bellenden. Gotta say, at £57, it's a steal. Feels great. Nice fit. Glad i made that snap decision and didn't fork out the extra £190 for a Rapha Softshell.

OK so.... how do the Pro Team and classic Soft Shells differ? Bear in mind, i'm yet to actually get my hands on either of them!

@JB — Yeah, to be honest, i just need a plain-ish jacket to cover my 10 or-so mile round commute and weekend rides. Usually I've got a bag on my back so the Pro Team Jacket isn't as appealing because it has all the usual jersey pockets on the back which, i imagine, would be annoying under a bag.

Cheers all. I've been riding in a cheap Regatta soft shell with a couple of baselayers this winter and its been generally fine but the cut is crap, obviously, and my wrists freeze. Time to upgrade.

The Golden Question: What is a realistic alternative to the Rapha Softshell Jacket, in terms of style and function? I'm contemplating the £240 price tag mainly because of the lifetime guarantee to fix their items if they get torn from a fall, for example. Obviously, I'd rather not part with that much £, but i just cannot seem to find an alternative.

How do NITTO RB021 BULLHORNS match up? Any ideas?

...just bent mine in a tumble last week and I can't seem to find them to buy anywhere.
I had the 25.4/26mm version, not the OS.

Just wondered if any of you fine people could recommend an alternative? (or sell me some 2nd hand!)

Just rewrapped mine with new bar tape after a crash last week and noticed that they're slightly bent. Would like to replace like-for-like ideally? Can't seem to find them new.
