Some new bits on my cross bike during the winter. Crankset, cockpit, tires, bottle cages. Enjoying it more than ever.

Did some changes this winter. Force crankset and CX1 ring, 11-36 cassette, new plushy Compass tires, King Cage Ti, and a Fizik cockpit. Also went into detail swapping out that ugly Specialized seatpost clamp with a minimal one from Carbon Ti and a cable stopper from Surly. Still enjoy this bike so much.

I miss this thread.

The new project is a hardtail that I'm designing from scratch. I guess I should make a project thread soon.

Difficult to put a price on it. I spent like two days designing and making it. Fabric is cordura and zipper YKK water proof. Open to offers.

Finally put it up for sale on Saturday and today it left the house for good. Buyer wanted it pretty much stock to use it for commuting and pub rounds. Doesn't look all that cool anymore, does it? But I get to keep some nice bits for the bin and can sell off the rest. Even the extra super rare custom framebag is up for grabs if you got a medium Awol.

Great project! You can get that high gloss too. I don't know how many clearcoats you put on, but when the pro's use glitter, flake or other effects, they put many layers of clearcoat on so they can sand down the clear without touching the base, then polish it up. Of course, pretty time consuming.

Very tidy. Looks fun.
