I was doing so well this summer, cutting my stable to three bikes. Now at six after bidding on this CAAD while drunk during the weekend. No regrets. I needed a Dale.
Plans are to build a cheap, but fucking fast bike. Picking parts from the bin and classifieds.

To be fair, I had to use a Campa 111mm BB to make the Sugino75 fit after failing with the Omniums – and it's not exactly ISO clearance now either.

Almost finished the old Scott Pro Racing today. Built to be a fun pub bike when the weather gets warmer. I got the frame for free and have sourced parts here and there. 1x10 SLX, CK headset, Thomson bars, Kalloy post, ebay narrow-wide 38t, XT/Mavic wheels.
Need to find another stem cause the drop is a bit too extreme now, put on ESI grips and find some nice tyres for it.

Best bargain on track wheelset? 50-88mm, UD matte, 20-24/28 or 24-28/32h. U-shape would be nice, but V is ok. I struggle finding something that ticks all the boxes.

Other than trend-factor, you'll save a 100gr per tyre by opting for the (heavy) Compass version. I've tried neither, but want to try both.

Kalloy 26,8mm seatpost from Ebay, wheels from a friend, cranks for cheap, narrow wide ring from China, cassette and stem from parts bin.

Sticker is gone. According to internet it's Ritchey Logic Super Tubing. Feels very light.

White Arione, Thomson clamp (very important) a 110 3t stem. Still need to sort the disc and get a Thomson post. Also thinking of getting a crabon wheelset from Chyna.
