A good friend of mine has spent an awful long time and far too much money finding the perfect road shoe - he’s now found some (lakes, in case you were wondering) and now has the following for sale.

All in various states of use, some only ever used on a turbo, but all good condition.

Thanks for your comments guys - very true, may will move to another forum. Thought I’d give the option to any fellow LFGSSers first!

My friend has asked if I could list these for him, as I’ve sold some of his cycling bits in the past.

These are quite a pricey item so may well not sell!

P9 Signature with box and all accessories. These have been barely used and are in superb condition.

These are £700 or so brand new, he’d like £550 for them. A decent saving for someone serious about headphones. They can be posted with signed/recorded delivery etc - based in Birmingham.

Two pairs of shoes which are both lovely but sadly, neither fit me well.

Firstly; Specialized Audax in black. I’ve used these for a few rides but they are a fraction too small. Super stiff, lovely faux grained leather. Bought as a robust performance shoe that would last for ages but sadly are too narrow. No box but I’m sure I have a shoe bag that will be included (once found!) cleats not included. £100

Secondly; fizik infinito knit. These are brand new. Have tried them on around the house but think they’ll be a fraction too narrow.

Wicked looking shoes, well regarded, modern knitted upper with stiff carbon sole.
RRP is £350, would like £250

No longer need these as a disc bike is being used for the winter.

I worked in a bike shop and built these with parts I had.

Rims are wide (circa 23/25mm) and great for a 25-28mm tyre. They’re de stickered oval wheels from a Fuji aero bike.

Front hub is fast forward with silky smooth bearings

Rear is a power way 13 or something. This was from a Chinese carbon Wheelset. Bearings a little rough but perfect for the winter/can be replaced if desired.

Built with Spain race spokes

Both running fairly true, will check prior to postage.

£60 + £15 postage

Cassette and tyres not included.
