@dangeek when I had my boiler fitted my plumber was working full time for a housing association and they'd done a lot of research on which boilers gave them the least hassle and it was Vaillant. I've now had my Valliant installed for 15 years and I've only had 2 issues. Both issues, it transpires, were the same cause, sort sort of blocked pipe inside the boiler. Had to be drained and manually cleaned, long term fix was a magnaclean.
It's a system boiler with a mega flow so different to a combi.
I think Vaillant have some deals on warranties at the moment, some boilers with 5 years and some with 7 years.
Good luck it is minefield choosing one. -
Nice one @BareNecessities I appreciate it. I'm going to try and get out on it a few times before then so will test those pressures.
Are you running a Rohloff? -

@BareNecessities, yep that's me. tis a good source of info for R hubs.
Think I need new 16tooth sprocket as its quite nosey, the hub needs a service and if I can I'll get my drop one then it's complete, it'd on flats at the mo'

@Skülly offset pad holders only give an extra 3 or 4mm.

only work with regular DP brakes thoughIf your frame is drilled for DP brakes you can get long drop Tekros 55- 73 mm brakes.

@russmeyer
very nice job. -
@Skülly I've just b*llsed my measurements (dont know how) for a 650B conv. numbers are 622-584 = 38 / 2 = 19. you need 19mm more drop in your brakes I think Im going to get around it by using offset pad holders or maybe file the slots a bit, it's only a few mm in my case.
