I saw here some bikes that weren't accepted as porn because they had the bartape attached in the wrong direction. So I think an era-incorrect saddle is at least as valid as a reason to (partially) reject.
But as campervangogh says: it's more porny than an internet fight. And ofcourse: it' s a nice bike.

If you want to know more: Dworp is a town south of Brussels, there's a "famous" (in Belgium) pro race called the "Brabantse Pijl". At the end of the eighties there were some very high-level clubs south of Brussels but most of them disappeared due to a rule every competitive club had to consist of at least 25 racers. Dworp Sportief was one of those that had to stop.
To be classified under "faits divers". ;-)

Cables (inner + outer) and chain (I ordered). Lever hoods are new too (from the eighties) but aren't original Campa. I bought everything in a Dutch shop (http://www.defietsenmaker.nl/index.php?action=home&lang=EN) so you can check there if you want. Those 3 new parts together represent about 10% of the price I'm asking...

Hi you all,
I am selling my most recent "clean up project" (see https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/267662/) as I need room (and money...) for some new stuff I can ride myself (this one is too small). I bought it for the fun of bringing old and neglected bikes back to life, so now that's done, I'm selling it.
It concerns a very nice Francesco Moser, probably from the early eighties. Probably it's a 1982 or 1983 "Modello Gran Sport".
What makes this bike so interesting? It's old, in good state ànd it's in nearly original setup.
The bike is equipped with a complete Campagnolo Gran Sport gruppo (with Regina Oro freewheel) and has several pantographed parts (stem, seatpost, chainring). Cables are NOS from the mid-eighties, handlebar tape is the original Benotto and also pedal straps and saddle are original (Moser-logo on it).I just have to put on the new Regina CX- chain I ordered (but didn't receive so far) and this one's ready to race.
Price? Considering the overall state of the bike, the nearly original setup, the NOS-parts and the hours and hours of cleaning I've putted into it, I am looking for SOLD but I'm open to offers.
More pictures can be found in the above mentioned current project-page.

Thanks. I like it myself but shouldn't lie to myself and stick to the kind of bikes I liked most (because I ride them most): the ones from the nineties.
The pantographed parts are nice indeed but for me the bike should stay like this; most of it's value comes from the fact it's nearly in an original state.
