O, nice find, @chat_rose ! So there's still early nineties PR6000's out there. Yours has the same pro team specific features as mine (regular shop sold bikes didn't have them): the extended seat tube collar and the "perforated" headset spacer ring.
Can I ask you for a favour? In case you take the forks out of the frame, can you weight them for me? Forks that came with my frame look like Prestige forks but weight a ton. Thanks!

My experience is that in an upright position you never can generate the same power as when more "horizontal". It's all about the "chain of muscles" : when climbing you use all your muscles between your fingers and your toes combined. When you're in a more vertical position, you can't use the muscles from your back optimally (and they're about the most powerfull in the chain). I'm not saying you can't climb mountains in your vertical position, just saying it's less efficient.
