I watched ‘Don’t Look Up’ last night and didn’t think much of it. Sure, the premise is decent and it has a few good moments, but it was too long and not funny enough. Plus some of the editing decisions were baffling…stock footage cutaways, random freeze frames…just didn’t work for me.

Anecdotally I can say that I'm on my 8th day of isolation and still testing positive on LFTs, despite never actually displaying any of the main three symptoms, so presumably still infectious...at least in my throat and up my nose!

I had mine yesterday in Bidborough House and they had two queues. 1 hour delay for appointments and 4 hour wait for walk ins...it's just the volume of people they're having to deal with. I'd had my original vaccination appointments up at the business design centre in Angel and it was the same team from there now working in Bidborough house, which is obviously a massive step down in capacity.

Sure, the cyclist doesn't have to and he's not in the wrong, but unfortunately this kind of reaction from drivers is all too common.

While that lady is clearly nuts, I have to admit that personally on a single track road if a car is behind me, I'll move off the road and stop if I have to to let them by. Not to be courteous to them, but because even if they're patient it's not nice being followed and I want them to leave me in peace on my ride ASAP.
