i'd be tempted by that if it also loses the cable routing down the downtube and gets a 12mm back end

I am glad that it loses the huge headtube of the equivalent synapse though, i had a synapse as a winter bike once and while it was actually quite good in terms of discs / guards etc i never really got on with the geo and it gave me knee pain regardless of how i set it up

I scoured through the Topstone geometry (i'm considering buying one) and i can find essentially nothing in common with the Synapse.

If anything it's more like a CAADX with better cable routing, a sloping top tube and a bit more BB drop (although the BB height is only 3mm diff)

If you want to race cross on occasion and commute, surely a CAADX is the bike for you?

Not running spigot rings is sketchy in my experience.

Carbon lorraine might make a pad for my APs but so far it seems ferodo or mintex and not much else

also have to use the AP discs (at £220 a piece!)

I can't recommend doing this having done it and sheared wheel studs and had the wheel eject itself down the road

i've used the plastic ones before but also had some aluminium ones before.

i think F6 is the equivalent to an 1155? i cant figure out if they're different pads or just a name change.

My Jenveys have them in the body but you can blank them like you say.

The manifold i have has 4 areas design in you can machine out to fit injectors. Maybe that's for an 8 injector setup or something wild though
