Nothing wrong with wearing a hoodie and jeans, just not what what I would expect most people to wear when commuting to work (if that's what he was doing). Avid cyclist was I guess maybe a euphemism too far. I could be wrong, but the the bike didn't really fit the guy who was riding it. I could be completely wrong, it could be his bike - but it just seemed a bit out of place somehow.

Went into the big Sainsbury's in Brixton this morning and saw a purple, steel frame single speed. It was unlocked, leaning up against the glass at the main entrance.

Thought to myself "that bikes going to get nicked if they're not careful" - as I came out saw said bike being cycled. Guy didn't look like like an avid cyclist to say the least. Wearing hoodie and jeans and pedaling with his heels. Went down Morval Road and I lost sight of him.

Brand new SealSkinz Belgian Style Cap in L/XL. I bought it for the cold weather, but unfortunately it's too small for my gigantic noggin.

Was just thinking of options, had the BB in for 4 months during the summer and it's creaking already. I'm just wondering how well a new GXP BB is going to cope with the upcoming winter. I've also read that the Hope BB's are pretty good when it comes to weather resistance.
Do the SRAM ceramic BB's cope any better?

Had my GXP BB for 4 months and it's already creaking like a mofo and I want to replace it.

I'm loathe to replace it with another crappy GXP BB and was thinking of getting a Hope BB and GXP converter, however, just concerned that it might affect my chainline and might be a pain in the arse to install.

Has anyone used the Hope converter and is it worth doing, or should I just stick with the GXP BB?
