WTF is that saddle?
You mean the Speedneedle saddle? Perfect HHSRB material.

Cool looking frame. The fork fits the frame surpassingly well. Matching rear wheel would be sweet, too bad it's so hard to find. Best option may indeed be getting a complete set.
I think the saddle is a bit too modern for the build, but that's personal taste. Comfort is probably more important in this department.
Edit: Seems we posted (almost) at the same time, so disregard my saddle comment haha.

could it work if i tried without the tape because then i would get like a cool merge effect.
Honestly this will turn out
horribleunlike you imagined unless you have the steady hand of a brain surgeon.I would avoid repainting your bike even if you'd mask and prepare it properly (have you thought of how much work it is to spray your bike? Sanding it down, primer/base coat, actual paint coats, clear coat, et cetera).
Even if you're finally done and the result is semi nice, the paint will never be as good and strong as the original, factory paint. Repainting your bike sounds like a cool idea on paper, but without the proper tools and investing a lot of time in it, it will turn out not so great in practice. Just my two cents though.

Maybe this was more suited for the Current Projects chat and miscellany thread , or is this an ongoing project?
Anyway, do you have pictures of the whole bike? Preferably from the driveside. Bars look good!

Frame only fits 23mm in the front, but room for bigger in the back. Should I just run 23mm on both wheels or is it worth it (speed/comfort/?) to put a bigger (say 25mm tyre) in the back?
