There no way they would have been wanking on about waiting for the report all weekend without knowing its a total stitch up. Boris sets the sphere of reference for the report. It'll just be a list of the party's that we already know about, she's not going to drawn an conclusions about if any rules have been broken, that's not going to be for her to say.
She spent most of her career advising how to avoid freedom of information request and how to destroy evidence, when she wasn't running a pub in bandit country!
-
Now that Boris has categorically denied that he was warned about the drinks party what odds will people give me that an email chain will shortly be leaked to the press?
I would assume they will wait for Starmer to get him go on the record at PMQs tomorrow and then release the e-mails. But I would assume he'll be told to say he can't remember being being warned.

My winter / rain bike is a surly steamroller, it’s got a pair of PDW fenders, the middle one which are billed as taking up to 28mm tire, which is what I’ve been running since I got them.
The front rim is just about dead so as an interim measure I’ve switched over to another wheel which had 30mm tire, this fitted easily under the guard, I could probably get away with a 32mm tire by the look of it.
This is a bit of a revelation, checking the rear there is currently no way anything bigger will fit. However looking at this photo I reckon there is a but 3/4mm extra space if I can bodge a different brake bridge arrangement. I was thing a zip tie and some inner tube to stop the rattle. Is there any reason why this shouldn’t work. It might allow me the Clearance to run a 30mm tire. What do you think?

Given the amount of damaged you've detailed above it will be more economic for an insurer to write the bike off and you should push for that. Once that's been agreed the old bike becomes the property of the insurance company, that's just a pain in the arse to them and they will happily agree a nominal value for you to buy the bike back and you can fix it up as needed.

Yeah I think the brother fork might be the way to go. the integrated crown race on the Ragley looks like it goes to cause problems, which is disappointing as other than fender mounts the brother forks they look exactly the same, bet they come from the same factory but the brother fork is £100 more expensive.
-
I want to put a carbon fork on my midnight special, the current dimensions are A2C 400mm 50mm offset. The only direct replace I can find is an Enve, but don't really want to pay nearly double the price of the frame and forks.
I've fond this, which looks close, A2C 398 and offset of 48mm, what am I missing why is it so reasonably priced.

I've just started looking into this, we've got a flying copper from pictures on wall cir 2002/3 I can't remember, just a numbered print not signed. The value they're changing hands for is scary right now, I can't afford to insurer it.
This will give you an idea of values, I've started talking to both bonhams and Sotherbys who are both interested, but they talk a very big slice

My steamroller has just passed 25,000 miles, now becoming my bike with the highest mileage, overtaking my fixed crosscheck.
I’ve ridden this bike home on the south coast from Glasgow via places like Cardiff and London. It’s the bike I’ve done my biggest ride on, 152 miles, Glasgow to Newcastle (10,000 feet of climbing)
It’s currently built with goldtec hubs, 75s, thomson finish kit. Front wheel rim need replacing asap. I’m currently riding as brakeless as I can because the rim is so concaved. Adding PDW Fenders a couple of years ago was a wet weather revelation.
It’s future isn’t certain unfortunately, all my other bike run fatter rubber these days and my winter bike needs to go the same way, but for now I’ve still got at least 3 sets of 28mm tires to use up so it’s safe for another year I should think.

He did call Paterson a cunt, so, there's that!
yeah, I don't like the look of this in some respects, but in the eyes of your average voter this looks bad for the Tory's and good for Labour.
