Back in the "good old days" hitting the backspace key in Firefox would take me back to the previous page, and to the position that I had been at on that page (still with me ?). Now it just takes me back to the top of that previous page, so then I have to tab down to where I was before !?
Have I done sumit stoopid, or has the web changed it's ways. Ta for any help.
PS, is there a way, when in Google search mode, to set the colour of links already followed to be red, or green or some colour that actually looks different from the standard black / blue combo.

Virgin use the EE network !? I've had great experience (in the provinces) on EE for years.
I have both SIM's in my OPX and the Virgin one usually shows better reception than the EE one - how is that possible ? Just saying as I find.
I'm only on 3G at present, so that may not cover your question fully.I was about to leave EE (due to BT 4G £5 deal), but their retention team offered me 3Gb of 4G, + unlimited mins and TXT for £9.99 for 12 months, so I'm staying now. That was much better deal than I found by searching the web........ I now dread someone telling me I could have got the same for less :-(

Quite recently I've noticed that most sites carry sensationalist "adverts" at the bottom of the page. Such headings as "the $2 pill that helped a local woman shed 200lbs in 3 days" etc, etc. Once you click on one you are whisked away to a world of utter tosh and nonsence. The overheads on my bandwidth are vast, and these "adverts" seem to contain scripts that are constantly crashing and locking up my browser (Firefox).
Am I alone here ? It's pretty much ruined large parts of the web for me; but to give some perspective, porn sites seem to be free from it ;-)
AdBlockPlus appears to be powerless..... hopefully the LFGSS Tech Savy Massive can give me back my virtual life !?
Thanks in advance for any sympath / help / general Pee-taking,
Gren
PS. my PC is running Win 10 with a SSD, so I'd jus got used to some decent performance before this happened - I'll have to wait another 20 yrs for that now :-(
