As for wheels, I've got a pair of Superstar wheels 28/28 built with Pacenti SL23s, a Powertap rear (which I recently had relaced to a DT Swiss R460 rim) and borrowed a pair of old Cosmics from a friend for this season's racing. The Pacenti and R460 rims look quite similar in profile, so the plan is to desticker both and use that as my everyday wheelset.
Here's what it looks like at the moment. The stem was a temporary measure while I was playing around with fit. Was thinking of acetoning the logos off but haven't got around to it. Would like a matching 3T stem, but can't justify spending money on essentially the same stem with a white stripe on it.

I could never get them to work properly on the rear, maybe I needed to play with the rear brake cable housing length, but I just gave up and went with SRAM brakes. Also, I thought the tiny grub screw used to secure the cable didn't seem entirely secure. So far it has been worth the extra 50g.
This is what it looked like on the first ride (ended up being 100 miles with accidental gravel). Couldn't find any black tape:

This is kind of a retrospective build log of my Cervelo. I've been riding it for half a year or so now and it has been great. I was very dissatisfied with my Planet X carbon frame and was searching for something to move the parts over to. The parts from the PX were:
SRAM RED Shifter and mechs
Planet X CNC brakes (ineffective and fiddly)
SRAM Force crankset
Specialized Toupe Pro saddleI've wanted a Cervelo for a while, but not being a dentist (and being at medical school instead) meant that funds were rather limited.

56cm Cannondale CAAD5 frame with Slice carbon forks. Nice lightweight and stiff aluminium frame with carbon forks. I had it built up with SRAM Rival and it was ~7.7kg. Cosmetic wear and tear consistent with age and there is some paint bubbling around the cable stops and on the downtube, but the frame is still solid. Selling as I've moved the parts over to an aero frame.
Would make a great crit bike with nice wheels or build it up with some cheap bits for a good training bike.
Includes: Frame, Forks, Headset and seatpost collar.

I want to rebuild my Powertap Pro+ hub with a DT Swiss R460. The wheel will be 32H 3-cross - what spokes should I use?
I'd prefer black spokes for cosmetic reasons but not sure the premium is worth it. Basically trying to decide between Sapim Laser/Race, DT Swiss Champion/Competition/Revolution - any others worth considering? Is there a big difference between any of them (weight difference looks to be ~50g for 2x the price)?
