Simworks/honjo and GB guards are better finished and feel more solid than VO, in my experience. They all work fine.

Yes. A phono stage will bring it up to standard line level. It also applies the riaa equalisation curve to the signal, as additional to the very quiet signal vinyl is cut with very quiet bass compared with standard line level sources.

Yup. I've had various Motorolas and Nokias, which are both close to stock android. It works well, and you can save the preferred Sim to call each contact, but it doesnt follow when texting. Currently got a Nokia 7.2 that I wouldn't recommend because of odd bugs, but my previous Nokia 8 was excellent.
