I went out Saturday and it was wet but ok. Opened the curtains this morning and went straight back to bed. Saw the DH photos on the gram and was glad I didn't risk it. I'm too old now, I don't bounce any more if I come off.

How was it? I was all geared up for a long ride and I decided against it at the last minute. Thought country roads might be a bit dodgy. I don't fancy coming off when it looks like its going to be mild later in the week anyway.

This reminds me, I bought a cotton canvas jacket in the asos sale and I'm going to have a go at waxing it. Target is to get a waxed, waterproof/windproof coat for £30. I'll provide some updates when its under way.

I can only do tonight now. However I wouldn't be too upset if it doesn't happen, I'm working right up til xmas eve so have loads to do.

That said, I'll be there if drinks are on.

I ride 25 mins each way to work. Originally I wore the full lycra get up but now its pretty cold and I'm finding I don't really break sweat I just wear my work trousers and change tops at work. I need to inspect my gear though, don't want any crotch blow outs mid meeting!

Yeah sure, I'll try and find them. They are actually a 3/4 length short/trouser thing, so maybe not ideal for right now.

Cycle specific and reasonably priced don't seem to go together! I love my Vulpine harrington jacket but it wasn't cheap.

What waist size are you? I have a pair of 32" Levi commuter trousers that I've never worn. Suffice to say I was feeling very optimistic the day I bought them!

There was a bar called Pivo that does a wide range of Belgian / European beers if that's your thing.

The Shambles is always worth a visit and a couple of photos. As is the sign for "Whip Ma Whop Ma Gate".

York Minster is also good to have a wander round the outside.

I didn't think much of the Jorvik Viking centre. But would recommend the railway museum and the cold war bunker!

Is anyone handy on Photoshop? I need a pretty basic logo done for use on instagram and etsy, we have so much stuff its not funny and I thought I'd give an online shop a whirl.
