The policy is only for companies with 250+ people. With a max 10% of company shares. And employees get a flat rate dividend as well as representation on the companies board. This all sounds like a pretty good idea.

Also Germany and other places have had this system in place for years.

If the numbers in the @mespilus figures are corect then the 'cost' of not sorting out the tax haven avoidance is 1.5 times the red bus 'cost' of the EU. Why hasn't this been a major debating point.
What did the EU ever do for us? It very nearly saved us £27 Bn a year in taxes lost to rich scum.
There have been questions about the £8 m donation from Arron Banks asking where the money came from but not 'why?'. ATAC explains why he and dozens of others were happy to spend millions on anti EU propaganda in order to save billions in tax avoidance. Why haven't we been asking about this?

Yep, tax avoidance by large corporations and the very rich has been such an underplayed story. Unsurprising that the big newspapers haven't covered it, but why not the Guardian or BBC?

I admire your optimism, but France has just suspended the fuel tax rise. And surely this is a warning sign to any other country foolish enough to try and reduce fossil fuel use through tax rises.

The gilets jaunes protests in France are so depressing. I know its a complicated issue, but they are protesting (successfully) against fuel tax rises. So much for the climate.

We've probably gone over this to death, but I think if there were only two options on the ballot: Deal or Remain, then Remain have a chance of winning.

But if it's 3 options: Deal, No Deal or Remain with some sort of transferable vote system, then Deal will probably clinch it.

Interesting. Would the EU agree to extend A50 if 'No Deal' was an option on the referendum though? Why would they, right?
