I need few tips.
I'm off to Madeira in few weeks mostly for hiking, but was also considering renting MTBs for a day and ride some XC (I am a total MTB noob).
It sort of bothers me paying for a guide that tells me what to do and where to go, is there a way I could source some trails info and map it on my Garmin to be more independent? I had a look on RWGPS (my go to for road cycling) but all I could find was very generic (confusing between hiking trails and mtb trails).Any idea?

Was in Vilnius last Saturday, had dinner here with friends: http://www.lokys.lt/en/about_us
Very much recommended, good menu based on game and typical dishes.
Had venison steak with cepes and baked apples. -

I have the same gxp as above, canal between the two. That's the most straightforward, easy and quick route.
However, as @Lieven_De_Vlaminck was saying, it's boring beyond imagination. It's good if you needto do Ghent/Bruges in the quickest time possible, but if you're touring I'd avoid it hands down.

I've read good reviews of these:

I've found these trails that seem quite close to Funchal (no need for car/van transfer)
