@haveo That will be awesome! (once the cages are in the bin)
Project "Turn another beater into something to worry about whenever you leave it" is going quite well. Position is much friendlier than with the Nitto drops.

@hma Like that! I'd say it needed a better photo, but the cat saves it.
Threw on some drops and a Concor, and a couple of fresh drivetrain bits. The stem was the least bad option I have.

Thanks guys. Another quick shot

@Howard I do have some road pedals coming to try, but I'm not convinced I'll make the swap.
@MechaMorgan They're very secure when they're seated fully, but can be hard to do that when they're empty and you're moving. Getting them in at speed isn't something I've fuly mastered, but I think it'll be fine with a bt more practice. Overall they're a bit if a gimmick, but I do love the way they look.

That is proper lovely.

Another pedal related question, do I want to use road pedals? My roadie mates reckon they're winners and I'll feel the stiffness difference, but after getting some bargain FIzik R3s which are fantastically comfortable and light, I realised that the ability to walk is not one of the many features. Or should I just go for some Giro Republic or similar and enjoy not looking like Bambi?

@typicaltom Yeh it'd be nice to find a match, but it's quite an off yellow so maybe some splash tape would work better.
@Rodolfo Don't think I could do that to it after so many years as it is. I think a new chainring and some polishing will make the Ofmega come up nicely anyway. I'd have only done something inappropriate and fitted this

@Gaston I've always fancied one and only recently found one at a decent price. Will let you know if I don't get on with it, but I reckon it'll be a keeper.

That's not good. how much material do you reckon's gone?
