I have had a link snap during one of those nice cobbled ascents you tend to have here in Belgium. My man parts still get tingly when I reminisce. Quick links are death.
Those fillets are dreamy, I will need a Hulsroy bike in the not so near future, other things are cooking for now, might need a custom stem if you are keen.

The LB rims I am talking about are these
I can take a picture with the wheels in the frame and tyres mounted. It did rub the frame once when I had a flat, but looking at the pictures of yours, it once happened before.
And sorry to say the SI cranks will not be for sale soon, I do want to upgrade to SISL2, but that will only happen when I find some fair priced ones.

I have the 2013 team colored SSEHM, fits 25mm Corsa’s with LightBicycle 32mm high fancy brake track rims (they don’t have them on the website anymore though and do not really know the widths).
In the process of rebuilding mine for light-ish climbing stuff, found an Extralite stem locally which set it off.
Dura Ace 9100 mechanical rim with Si cranks, shallow Dt Swiss OXIC wheelset, cheap light Hylix seatpost, still need some nice bars.
I do have some new or slightly used parts going spare, stripped 120mm Pro Vibe 7s, Enve seatpost, new BB bearings,…
If interested I can see what’s there. (also EU based so should be easy.)Here’s a pic how it stood for a while before I took it apart.
Still love riding this around.

I forgot about Albula, been a while since I last crossed there. Bit far from our usual stay in Schweiz and I’m not that fit anymore :)
As said above, you can take the old road up Simplon from Ried Brig, but last time I was there (2021) you could only do about 4km on it and it diverted onto the main road due to ongoing construction. Once you are over it is a pretty nice descent and Domodossola is a quaint mountain town for lunch and supplying. We usually go there just for this and everything is much cheaper than in Switzerland.
Reminiscing about all this really makes me want to do a multi-day or week tour just between France, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria and Italy.

andermatt and approach italy from that side
If you choose to go through the Swiss Rhone valley and cross to Italy, I would take the Nufenen pass, the descent into Airolo is one of the best I have done ever.
Simplon pass is shitty, lots of traffic including trucks. If you decide to go Furka from the Oberwald side and descend to Realp, be aware as that is the "shitty side" :)

I have thought about modifying a thru-axle for a front guard more or less like this, but the crown attachment point bugged me too much. I really want a solid solution.
So bought a secondhand fork which I (still) need to modify. Plan is to epoxy stainless nuts on the legs and a short flat head M5 at the crown and fasten it with a nyloc nut.
This way I would have a dedicated "winter" fork, so I can just swap the whole thing out during winter/summer maintenance. Might also add a complete brake and shifter assembly to speed this up.
Failed to get it done for this winter, don't have any time to do any riding anyway, but hope to have it done end of this year!

Well if you have access to all the Delrin or POM you need, I would fabricate some kind of sliding/locking mechanism and a bolt on adapter so you could use the existing binding holes. That would require some more design, but the whole package would become more packable.
edit: if you are feeling more adventurous, you could also simulate a ski boot adaptor and click the whole sled structure in the ski itself. Wouldn't that just be a machined plate with some POM in the front and back?

I have a pair of Houdini Dunfri mittens, I layer them with some Grib Grab cycling specific ones on the bike when it gets cold.
I do not wear the mittens all the time on the bike, I just pop them on for a couple mins. Everything warms up and just roll them back up and put them in a jersey pocket.I think you need to look into that direction as it feels a "Zoa-esque" approach to things. ;)
- I actually have 2 pairs of the mittens and the shell for wet instances. Use the mittens on a day to day basis, they are fantastic. I have some other Houdini stuff and really rate it all, nice products and company ethos.

Just to chime in on the CAD chat, I used to do a lot of mechanical design in Catia as a tooling engineer. It has a steep learning curve, but lot of useful analysis tools available and it's pretty easy to export part structures and production drawings. If you spend lots of time in it and have an extensive library, it really is one of the better industry tools.
I do still have it installed on the work laptop, but I rarely fire it up anymore. I've never thought of bicycle frame design before with it.

The E2 is cheap if you can live with blue casing.
https://www.bike-discount.de/en/supernova-e3-pro-2-6v-dynamo-headlight-1The upside down E3 looks good too and both are road legal.
But I think you would need to choose either road legal or off-road capability.Combination of helmet light and dyno seems like the best option.
edit: the site you linked also have the E3 "Frontscheinwerfer" for €94 in color, actually tempting.

My employer thanks my swift internet skills.
https://www.diemme.com/shop/ramon-black-leather/edit: Phil beat me to it, anyway, energy crisis aside, would cop.
I'd go black crank and silver ring, you'll be able to source an Olympic right? :)
