Literally swapped out the axles on some cromos for those J&L Ti spindles this morning. Stock was 222g for the pair. Modded 171g. Didn't measure them but I can probably do that on Sunday if you're that curious.

You can also bodge a Hollowgram removal tool out of two Park CCP-22s and a suitable length of metal rod inside the spindle. NOT RECOMMENDED unless you're absolutely desperate.

Park TW6. Although that Park crow foot looks like a rip off. Pretty sure you can easily find similar ones for £5 in hardware stores or car repair stores.

I was actually thinking more about why bother with the shoe in the first place? I have seen a few amputees have cleats screwed or molded to a specific prosthetic. Is it personal choice or the rules of certain categories perhaps?

Tried the search but came up blank... Anybody got experience with the Garmin Vivofit?
I'm really close to "pulling the trigger" (ughh) on one, but I love wearing all kinds of other watches day to day. What I really want is something like the Montblanc e-strap but for fitness based apps. Maybe I'll make a third-party strap that can hold the Vivofit on a regular strap so you can track steps/heartbeat while wearing your normal watch.

Confused - you said it's screwed but have parts that would work with it?
The tolerances on BB30 are 0.02mm. BB30 bearings are never going to sit right in that shell. But yeah I have a spare Praxis BB30 to HT2 converter that'd probably work fine.

No amount of loctite is going to help out that frame, it's fucked.
If I wasn't a midget I'd take it off your hands as I've got a Praxis BB and DA groupset going spare.

Annoying more than anything. There was a shedload of loctite on the threads. Don't think I've ever managed to undo that screw on Speedplays without using a soldering iron to melt that stuff.
