Anyone have an exadrive cassette lying around? It is a slightly obscure spline pattern that fits certain 8-speed campag, and more recent miche freehubs. If you know the ones, you will understand my frustration! Ideally looking for something as cheap as possible, as it's just for a loaner bike I pass around to friends, and don't ride much myself...

my GT stem is 1-1/8" quill....

looking to get some sourdough starter going, and saw that a few people on here had mentioned tartine - is this the best technique/recipe/method ?

Anyone have good tips on bike fit for kids? I bought a few giovanissimi frames (at £13 each who could resist!) from px in their sale, but I am not sure which size is suited to which child... (Not mine, a friend's!) the frame for 20", 24" and 26" wheels seem equally tiny!

I have a campag lockring (from a NOS 8-sp cassette) that strangely didn't fit the freehub... just measured with calipers and the outside diameter at the threads appears to be 28.5mm - I assume that means its not the same one you need then, unless I am measuring the wrong thing? happy to measure again if it's ID or something else...

was just for contrast, and the quick mockup was only to irritate a proper designer enough to do it right ;)

Has anyone tried owayo for caps? Mocked this up in about 2 minutes (I was going for the "rearview mirror" look, but I settled on "rearview mirror after being upended by car" for simplicity's sake):

subbed - saw @winnifred1849 post that in the ebay thread and was tempted... looking to do something similar (with an 853 rock lobster) once I get through my backlog of current projects.
I am thinking 26" will be easier, and may run a front disc brake (since I am changing it over to a rigid fork anyways), but I'd be happy to hear from your experiences of an 853 MTB conversion...

What angle degree stem do I need for it to be horizontal here? -7?

here is my parts bin ("all-black ") build of a TC1 frame I got a few months back - should I go for a shorter stem, drops? not liking the looks of it up front...

I know I have seen the answer to this somewhere on this thread, but are the DT RR 1.1 rims known by another name (or have been superseded by a newer model number with similar specs)? Which are they most comparable to?
