So it turns out my nieces grew since I last saw them 2 years ago. This bike is rates up to people 5’ (so could be for a small adult.
One flaw: apart from minor dings and chips the front brake lever needs replacing. it’s a flipping excellent steed

@atz, I’m going the other way: from risers to drops on my Tripster ATR. Risers/flatbars make a great getaround/offroader with a long enough stem.
And in fact I may be getting rid of my carbon riser bars/hydraulic Deore M6000 brakes/105 trigger shifters cockpit/stem soon, if you’re not in a rush

Quick GRX 600 vs 105 question for someone going from risers to drop bars:
Has anyone noticed any substantive difference between GRX 600 shifters and Shimano 105 7020 shifters? I was hoping the hood would be taller and more texturised with a higher pivot point. But Having the two side by side the only difference is the shape/finish of the lever blade and the base of the hoods.
The hoods are the same height, shape and the rubber texturisation on mine is identical. The pivot point is at the exact same place (to the mm) and the gubbins of shifting mechanism are identical. The only difference in the hood is the base that attaches to the bar is a tiny bit thicker on the GRX

An incredible turntable from The Czech Republic's foremost manufacturer. Features a solid plinth design with a cast alloy platter, AC motor and carbon fibre tonearm. Despite being looked after very carefully it has a small paint chip on one corner and the usual light marks on the dust cover, it is a minimalist thing of beauty
A bargain - £200
Comes with Ortophone OMB 10 cartridge
Will throw in a Pro-Ject MM pre-amp for £30
An unbeatable setup, for pickup only from Tooting Bec

Hi!
Wanted: non-tapered carbon forks with post mounts, With decent clearance and uncut ( >25cm of steerer if possible), straight bladed if possible.
I am sure someone has one of these knocking about in a cupboard somewhere. Don’t need to be perfect, just serviceable
It’s tough to get ahold of nice non-tapered forks (are they a less stiff dying standard?)
Thanks!
