Is there a reference guide for FD capacities somewhere for mtb FDs?

I have a 38-24 XT crankset, and I want to use a 22t inner ring to get a little more lower range for touring. I'm concerned my FD won't handle a jump that high.

No chain...shaft drive? Magnets? Electric motors?

Check the wheel building thread for opinions on lasers. People seem to say to avoid them, but that's on standard wheels. I'm unsure if the rules change when it comes to smaller wheels.

Check out Bike Bag Dudes facebook page, he made a bar bag that fits in the space of a Jones H-bar...just turn it around so the tapered edge faces the wind. You could get him to do a little clever resizing to the width you need and it'll suspend perfectly off the aerobars, and be aero too!!
Edit to add: his garage top tube bag is one of the largest in the business too, if not the largest.

I got myself some Salsa Bend 2 (17 deg back) as it's alloy and less likely to get destroyed from bikepacking.

Depends on what you want out of 32mm or 34mm stanchions.

32mm are light, but "flexy", especially if you do some decent downhill. I don't feel that much flex, but I only have 100mm travel. With 140mm+ I guess it'd start moving about.
34mm are heavier, and supposedly less flexy.

Not sure...mine came with factory 32 stock (non-kashima) 100mm forks, and the dude I bought it off swapped the shock out for a kashima factory shock.

Chain reaction is flogging the 2014 kashima shocks for something like $320AUD (this is what's on mine) with a few different tunes...so about 160 quid?
