So i've got it all built up with new forks. blb freestyle things and some large tyres. Its proving to serve me well for my commute everyday however I am wondering if anyone can see a way I can get a front brake onto these forks as there is an epic drop at the front. basically 700 rim in a 29'er fork I believe.
Not seen any "long drop" calipers that will reach that far if i drilled out the front of the fork.
Wondered if perhaps a bmx 990 style brake plate with a u brake might suit my needs? Or bolt on v brake lugs that dont cost the earth? -

Kind of yeah. I just turned the bike over and applied resistance as if the bike was riding to the rear wheel and pedalled the crqnl with my hand. Looks like the chain isn't meeting the teeth on the rest cog correctly. As it meets them it jerks down into the notch. Making a ticking. Under real riding pressure I think this could be amplified and be the sound. New cog or wrong size chain?

Can anyone shed some light on something obvious I'm missing here?
I took the crank off and cleaned I up today and then refitted it with a new chain.
My chain tension should be correct. About 1.5 cm vertical travel. But when I put some hard pressure to increase my speed or hit a hill I hear and feel a grinding creaking noise rattling away from 12 o clock to 3 in my pedal stroke on both left and right sides.
Perhaps insufficient lubrication? To much tension? I'm at a loss

I don't want to be a critic but your "About us" section contains some terrible English. This might make you look a bit naff and put people off.
Might I suggest that you have that checked over by someone and rewritten for you. Perhaps someone here would be kind enough?
Product looks great however (will probably buy one and great price) but I think that lets the image down. Just a heads up more than anything.

I've been given green light by mrs to attend. Coming up from essex. Will try and encourage a crew to join me. Bridges is a great ride.
