My problem is top strap above ankle. And I think changing Velcro is not enough, what I'm going to do is probably just add some sort of a small hook that could hold it well.

I can add that mission workshop has excellent customer service, for example my dog has eaten a buckle on my bag and they just send a new one without any problems. When my water resistance was going away I had right away help to bring it back etc. Backpack is used daily in real sh*t Finnish weather.
