I'm doing a series next year, but only with rides I have never done before, so have entered the Orbital the week after unfortunately. Not sure I'll be ready for consecutive weekends of 400s by then.
LWL was my first 400 and I was glad to have Clement there especially for the last part through the Chilterns in the small hours of the Sunday morning when I experienced cycling induced hallucinations for the first time.

Heard the last one was really good, so am going to try and get time right this time!
Also, it's going to be very pleasant weather and hoping there will be extra sounds, warming up for Drum & Bass on the bike on Sunday.

Guess if you don't mind killing animals for money if it results in food, you're not going to fret about killing 'puppies' as long as they feeding people. I think most animals are still very young when they are dispatched anyway.

Thanks for posting. I'm not sure either now. Clean break areas and dirty areas don't match up, but as you say it did get dirt on from the fall.
I have these and don't fancy a sudden failure, and I've also actually seen someone riding in front of me have the exact same break.
