Hi everyone,
I've taken ownership of a fairly well-used 2009 M6 and am looking for a bit of advice.
It needs a few things fixing and upgrading and I've got a few questions.Firstly, the front wheel looks like it's ready to go- firstly will I die if I keep riding it?
If I do change it, is it worth buying a Superlight front wheel?
Also, is it a stupid idea to upgrade bits on a bike this old? Are there any simple/cheap things to change first?
Thanks for any help. -

Thanks for the OnOne bars @AlphaOmega. Not sure I've got the levers to fit the bars now though! My bad.

I've just had my handlebars, stem and shifters stolen so need to replace them asap to be able to get about.
If anyone has any of the following for sale I'd appreciate it:
• Cheapish/beaterish drop bars bars (42cm ish- black ideally)
• Stem (90cm ish -black ideally)
• 10 speed brifters (left and right).Thanks

A couple of framesets for sale.
The Equlibrium is a 56cm frameset, I think it's a 2013- the Reynolds 725 one.
Comes complete with a Cane Creeek Headset and a Shimano BB.
And a bit of surface rust. And a few scrapes as you'd expect for something that's been used as a winter bike.
There's no dents though.
I've tried to show the worst of the rusty bits around the chainstay bridge as best as I can.
£80 ONO
And an old Dawes Genesis framesest for sale as well.
57 tt. Renolds 531 st tubing. I think it might be late 80s?
It's got internal cabling in the top tube and comes with a bottom bracket.
Again there's a bit of surface rust on the chainstay bridge area, but it's in better nick than I remembered tbh.
£30 ONO
Collection from E5 or SE1 during the day.
