I think Enve and a few others do stuff like this. Just look at Campenaerts bike.
I kind of like flared bars, angle the levers in and you get aero tuck and wide in the drops for gnarly stuff. Stupidly wide bars, that I don't understand.

You can feel the bearings with your fingers if you take the cranks off. Do they roll smooth or grainy?
Is it new or old? You can smack them in and out but there's a risk you'll damage the sleeve or the bearings, only do it if you have spares at hand.

edit what @skinny said, rewatched the video and don't look terrible for such big cassette in a double. Still, if there's room to add one or two links I'd try that.

Again, if you remove chain and wheel does it shift all gears? It's the same in the big or small chainrings? When you go to as up as it let's you does it make a whirring noise before going down one step?

To me it looks its installed in the right place and there's room to go up the cassette. Bent hanger maybe?

I'd undo the seat post, but you can go both ways if memory doesn't fail me. May need a bleed after.

It may not work in all the frames. Is way over the recommended usage. Pictures would help.
