Sorry @Heldring - quite a bit of interest in splitting last week and it was enough to do it.
I'll update the thread with pieces remaining after collections of dibs this week in case you're interested or PM me what you need. -
£25 donated for various sales. Thanks again for all your work maintaining this @Velocio

Maybe worth a trawl of one of the most romantic / melancholic LFGSS threads (or cross-posting) -
Monday morning price drop bump for the group. Groupset could come with a 25mm Dura Ace 7400 post instead of the 27.2 in case anyone was planning to DA their Alan / Look / Vitus etc (for which the band of derailleur is also up your street). The 25mm is quite short if I remember correctly but VGC. Or drop me message if you're interested in individual parts - ideally crankset, derailleurs and/or shifters and I can make the split. Cheers!

Noted @anidel and @Canyon_Si - anyone else looking for individual items to make a split work? Cranks, derailleurs, shifters...or just the whole lot? Let me know here or PM. Cheers

I'm selling a 7400 groupset here:

There might be enough takers for other pieces if you're still looking for a crankset - let me know / pm me with an offer if you're interested. -

Hi all,
Listed here one Shimano Dura Ace 7400 7-speed groupset for sale. All parts come from a functional bike and are in good working order (with the exception of the BB which I never fitted - see notes below). I had this on my favorite bike and loved it – if I hadn’t changed frames and bought another with a full groupset I would be keeping this. Details of components below – and notes on condition follows. If you want more images drop me a PM. If I've missed anything out that you'd like to know, just ask. If you are considering buying and you want to come to take a look, that's fine too - it's all in N16. I'd rather not split, but if you want selected items (I know there's been some talk on threads of people looking for 7400 bits atm) drop me a line / make me an offer, and if there's enough interest I'd consider splitting.
Images are here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dj7ix1xcvmkes5g/AACmkNcUrwAIjYkmDfamOcX0a?dl=0
This is now split. Details:
Sold:
7400 front wheel laced to Super Champion Mixte 700c clincher rim
7400 rear wheel (126mm spacing), accepts standard 6/7 speed screw-on freewheels, Mavic Double E2 Argent 700c clincher rim
Skewers – matching Shimano skewers (front and rear) plus correct Dura Ace front skewer (some pitting to this)
7402 Front brake caliper, VGC
7400 Rear brake caliper, VGC
7400 seatpost, 27.2mm
7410 headset, VGC
7400 brake levers (supple hoods, VGC/near perfect)
7402 crankset (170mm) with Shimano 53/39 chainrings, crankbolts and correct Dura Ace dustcapsOn hold this week/potential dibs:
7400 7-speed downtube levers
7402 rear derailleur (jockey wheels are Tacx, good condition, some scratching to exterior but does not affect functionality - n.b. Velobase suggests this will run 8-speed also)
7403 front derailleur, band-on, VGCAvailable:
7400 bottom bracket (1.37 x 24T / 68, 'British' thread, see notes)
7400 ‘Profile 50’ brake shoes and pads - front and rear pairs (see notes)
7-speed freewheel, 7-speed chain, optional Shimano sealed BB (all non-DA)Notes:
There is some minor foot rubbing to the anodising on the crankset (photographed for maximum visibility in images - they look great IRL), some chain rub on the inner (where you’ll never see when mounted) but generally in very good aesthetic condition. Wheels are running true and braking surfaces in very good used condition (front bearings could do with re-packing but I didn’t notice this whilst riding. Cones are un-inspected). One set of the pads could do with replacing, the other has plenty of life left. The bottom bracket needs bearings and there is some pitting to the faces but I can’t comment as to how noticeable this is – I never fitted this part (can include the good condition sealed Shimano UN71 BB I had with this set-up if you want the guarantee). The seatpost has multiple insertion marks and scratches – some polishing would deal with much of this – upper visible sections generally good and fully functional (again, see photos). Sale includes a (non-DA) 7-speed chain and a Sun screw-on 7 speed cassette also in good condition so it's good to go. Please ask any questions and look closely at all images etc.£375 -> 370 -> split, ideally collection in London (N16) though tracked postage at cost possible, donation to forum included.

The aero press option is light and depending on a big enough mug size could pack inside. The coffee is good. Also cuts the need for a separate heating vessel and a mug. Obviously the Turkish/Greek option cooked in the mug is optimal streamlining but then it’s down to taste (again). If it’s just for coffee the beercan stove works a treat and there’s enough room in the hollow of the press for a small bottle of meths/alcohol)...

A @hippy would recognise the benefits of collective ownership / shared resources. Ended up buying one, which I guess means that I too will have one mostly sat in a cupboard / until I can get away again, and that I'm quite but not totally satisfied with. Ha.

All gone - huge thanks for the generous donations @youClown @jppegs @AlfaR0me0
Nice one LFGSS community -

This might be a long shot but I'm setting off for an overnight (my first bikepacking endeavour) at the end of next week and before I start spending loads of money on kit (which with any new venture seems to the the habit/risk, and there are lots of good recommendations on here) I'm wondering if anyone on here has a saddle pack (I'm guessing around 11/13+ litres) that they think is good and would consider lending me for a couple of days so I can try it out before investing? I'm in Hackney, would take absolute care (and the weather looks good), and happy to pay rental in beer / pastries / whatever / leave a guarantee...drop me a PM if there's any chance. Cheers everyone.
Pretty much my all time favourite paint job the white/flicked black Rossin finish. The green / sparkle looks great though too. Lovely frames Rossin - good luck with finishing this one off.
