Hideous intervals on Saturday celebrated with dinner out and hungover SS ride on Sunday. Woke early this morning, BBC weather app stated the rain would hold off so did 2hr base ride during which I got utterly soaked and was nearly killed by a kamikaze tipper lorry that luckily decided that forcing the oncoming car into the verge was preferable to crushing me. This is a refreshing change that I put down to the awesome lumenz pumped out by my new Lupine Rotlicht.

Dont get fasted riding - I'd rather do more z2 with nutrition and be fuelled for intervals for max training stress.

HR strap and no HR data on head unit - only powerz. Only look at HR drift on PC later.
Now into build phase. Intensity of intervals requires more rest before and after. Tempted to put in distance on rest days in subconscious attempt to reduce efforts and pain on interval sessions.
Anyone eat/do gels on turbo?

Something is wrong here. I do 6x7 at my 20minute FTP with 5' recovery. It's sheer hell and requires a significant amount of mental preparation and HTFU to get through. I'm pretty wrecked by the end of it.
