Have ended up with another set of these. Remember seeing these painted versions in the past but never knew their origin. After some Googling it seems they came fitted on a Shogun bike under the name Celeste I think. The ring had celeste written in it too.
Anyway the colour was gross so I spend this evening removing the paint and here we are. I tried removing the paint from the chainring but the finish looks a bit shit in comparison to the crank arms which can e out great. I probably won’t use the ring anyway as it’s a 54t..
Not quite sure what it’s going on yet, bcd is 110 I was thinking of either getting an AARN or I could get an aero ring from garbaruk which would allow me to go for a higher tooth count. People online suggest I should be okay running fixed with a nw chainring if I stick to 3/32 or 8 speed chain, so we’ll see how I got on with that.
Would love to work out how to add back on the Sugino 75 logo, could go for a sticker but think it wouldn’t look right feel like it would stick out, any other suggesting?

I’m looking for a 110bcd chainring to use with a crankset I have. I’d like to use them for track. I think I've seen some cheaper 110bcd track chainrings, but am I right in thinking I can’t use any of the trendy anodised narrow wide chainrings that are about? Not compatible with with 3/32 cog and chain?

Took this for a long weekend trip, down the Downs Link and then west across the South Downs. First kind of ride like this and the stretch across the South Downs was pretty gruelling!
Have a feeling it would have been easier if I’d packed a bit less but wanted to take my new panniers by Bigxtop for a spin which were a pleasure to use.
Sorry for non drive side pic

Hey all, selling my this as only really have use for 1 geared bike and want to make some space.
Currently I’ve got it only semi built as there a couple of bits I’d like to keep. I think before I’d consider selling just the frame I’d want to try selling the semi complete build as it saves me a load of time parting it out.got a couple of people interesting in the frame so if it comes to it will move through that list in order.
The semi complete build includes:
Frame 56.5 x 56.5cm
Wound up fork
Dura ace hs
Nitto pearl stem 11
DA 7700 crankset (42t single ring), rear mech and brakes and I think bb.
Wheelset, older hope Ti hubs on mavic ceramic rims (the coated ones which don’t rub off) + tyres and tubes included.
Paul thumbie with shimano bar end shifter. So bits you’d need are seatpost, saddle, pedals, bars and levers.
For all this I’d be looking for £850 -> 840 -> 825.

I feel like anything too crazy is not my vibe haha tbh I’d probably try and replicate the original Sugino 75 graphics on the ring as I quite like the graphics.
