I know, I know. but really, the things you own, own you.
Since moving on nearly all of the 'might be useful one day' components, alternative forks, extra frames, different bars and associated brakes etc, myfirstsweetfixieh, road bike, (admittedly piece of shit) mountain bike etc, I have felt very much better.
The same with my extra musical equipment. It just feels good to have only what you need and get the absolute most you can from it.
Sure this will end on 'shit fixie sidders say' but the whole reason fixed gear ever appealed was largely to do with their minimalism, and it's been a great process getting back to that. now I just want to refine it! -
Here's my Dolan Pre Cursa.

Just after some advice:
Everything on the bike runs nice, ratio feels good for my commute and it handles well. , I'm aware this frame (60cm) is a little long and low, however, set-up as it is now is comfortable enough for longer rides.I would be fine with this, and attempt to reach bicycle nirvana, but non of it is really exciting me. messenger cranks, spd's, (new plain silver since this photo) mis-matched wheels...
so I guess my question is, bearing in mind I only ever want one bike, would you think upgrade the frame to something a little more exciting (and hopefully better fitting) or components first makes more sense?
will this frame always look a bit goofy because of the length being a bit much? -

@bazschmaz might take just the rear if you would split?

my giro privateers seem to be rubbing on the spindle of my headily worn SPD pedals. so the engage/ disengage doesn't feel very positive, there's occasional squeaking when pedalling.
also a now possibly unrelated weird jolt seems to have developed in my right foot.
anyway, was wondering about swapping to ATAC, will there be more or less clearance?

@proudcalves has messaged and as long as he turns up as agreed with cash tomorrow, then this is sold. should this not happen for any reason, @khalid313 I will let you know.

Tried drops and hoods, love all the hand positions but my lower back couldn't take it over longer distances. 30+ miles in a day we are talking here.
Not a fan of the look of crostop levers on drops :/
Any suggestions for tall/short frameset? 62/58 would be good, 60x60 is what I'm currently riding
