If your mixing, you want something that sounds flat and neutral. Krks bass is way overhyped, defeats the point of the monitor.
But ultimately, as long as you learn the speaker's sound and how it will transition to other systems your all good :D

Yamaha MSP5's I love mine. very neutral and clean. front ports. if your close to a wall, larger woofers probably aren't your friends.

Very young looking kid with a zipp Rear disc'ed aventon with massive drops going down edgeware road from kilburn. Brakeless. Much crosswind. Seemed like a poor choice.

vintage Giro D'italia cinelli 64-40 bars 40cm c-c at drops + cinelli quill stem. I don't know a whole lot about quill stems, but 80mm long. clamp diameter seems to be slightly over 26mm, these definitely work as a setup, alternatively I'm sure smaller bars could be shimmed, but I would rather not split. £20 for both!

ITM, Black, ergonomic drops. 260g 42cm outside to outside. 26 clamp. fitted, ridden a few hundred miles. no crashes no dents no dings. cable routing crimped channel sort of thing.

I've been riding around on my 60cm Pre cursa for a few years. Lower back is becoming a problem 6 months into my (15 miles each way) commute. I'm on a 90 stem, inline seatpost and risers and feel like i'm nearly always on the nose of the saddle, so thinking i'm just too stretched out? its weird because I don't really remember experiencing any pain over the same commute over summer.

In the road/cycle lanes where I'm finding glass tbh. Does anyone even cycle on the pavement still?

Avoiding potholes hasn't really been a problem. Occasional curb hopping is probably the only pinch flat fear... it's more the massive amounts unexpected glass, broken bottles etc that seems been a problem lately. - supports the over high psi theory I guess

That said, I run at about 100PSI and am probably around 85KG or so with bag on. so doesn't seem obscenely high by that chart?
will back off a bit more and see how that works out for me!

I know it's not a race, but when unfortunately a long commute is pretty much all you get to ride, you want to make it as comfortable and fun as possible.

Absolutely, I just wish puncture protection wasn't so important for my commute. :/

2 months and somewhere near 1800 miles the open pave is dead :( lovely while it lasted but too many punctures now. gatorskins. they just last and last.

Does anyone "need" njs? I don't actually care that much if its njs or not for me. I'm just trying to learn and understand.

What are NJS frames made of? as in which particular steel quality?
I'm only just starting to recognize tubing, seems like there's some columbus max?

Are NJS frames a bit flexy in larger sizes? I'm looking into my first steel bike now I'm thoroughly bored of alu.
