Had terrazzo jumped in price like everything else? I thought maybe £3-400 max. But never bought it before!

Any tips for a cheaper alternative to Terrazzo for a bathroom vanity unit surface and up-stand? Had a few quotes, cheapest is £725 ex Vat delivered which is more than I want to spend. It's a refresh rather than a full remodel of the bathroom. Setup will be similar to the image below, but not so long, 102cm x 50cm to be exact.

It works on my wahoo (ultegra shifters). I change screens with one of the top buttons. I have the inline wireless unit although it's actually in the handlebar end on it's own cable from the shifter. Figured there was no point in adding a junction that could potentially fail, hidden inside the frame.

Awesome. Running regularly 8km to Blackfriars. Found the watch in Epping Forest, but no routes recorded around there.

I managed to borrow a charger cable and sync the watch with my laptop.
There are regular runs from Harringay to Blackfriars. I can locate the start of the runs to the corner of a street so looking for someone who can put up a couple of posters for me.

Coffee grounds (mainly from Nespresso machine) - are they good for plants? Any tips how and where to use the endless coffee grounds in a good way? Especially if it stops slugs/foxes/cats

I’ve done the photography for their sales bikes forever but they are taking it in house so I’m trying to find them a cheap setup. Needs to have a hot shoe to take the flash that I’ll donate to them.

Also a cheap remote trigger, I have one but not sure if it works or not.

This is near me, sums it up quite nicely. Bought by a developer in 2017 for 445k and needed a lot of work. Put on the market at 650k in 2018, way above the highest similar house at the time. Didn’t sell so the developer rented it for 2-3k until 2022. Listed it at 800k and it went for 850k.

I have no idea why someone paid that much for it. Perfectly well done loft extension and side return. Added a utility/downstairs toilet I think. But not exactly Modern House territory.

We have a dado rail in our (narrow) hall. Mid grey below and white above looks good. Glass in the front door helps.

We used Leyland Hard wearing matt emulsion on the hallway, colour matched to a F&B colour and it's good.

Recommendations for a low sheen water based paint for wardrobe doors (and maybe a chest of drawers as well). Ideally available in leyland or my local paint shop where they can colour match the f&b colour that has been chosen.

Painting mdf doors. Child’s room so will end up getting a lot of wear so durability is key.

I would say a round Random Orbital sander. When we had our floors done, the guy had the big machines, but hand finished everything with the hand sander, so I'm sure for a small patch with matching grit it will be fine.

Also, what can I use to fill this gap (and maybe the void behind it)? I was going to use DraughtEx but it's hollow behind so I think it will just fall through the gap.

Main aim is to stop the weed smell coming through from our neighbour's house. But insulation is a bonus.
