The only part I struggled with was trying to find a good cheap disc fork.
Was tempted by the Quantec as shown on Zdrenkas bike earlier in the thread but I've ended up picking up a cheap Kona P2 disc/canti and grinding the canti mounts off of that for a third of the price. (and probably 3x the weight)

^is that easy to do? never had any experience with QR hubs. #completenoob
Yep. Just need two different sized cone spanners and you can follow the instructions from VeloSolo (http://www.velosolo.co.uk/faq.html#d8) While you're at it you can buy the axles and spacers (if you're going disc cog in the rear) from them too.
I did it in 10 minutes and my two Shimano XTs cost less than a single Surly disc.

Im guessing it was locked, when you seen it. You should buy, and you wont regret it!
Mine is a everything bike, commuting, training and a sunday ride. Does everything magic!
Yep, locked up outside the Ramshorn. Wasn't too tricky to figure out whose it was ... not too many pink Gangstas in Scotland I'm sure!
Anyway, I'm afraid I can't justify it (to my girlfriend or to myself) until I get rid of one of my other bikes, so I'm going to have to pass on it and hope that another one comes up down the line when I'm in a better financial position.

Eingang could even run matching front and rears, buy 2 disc front hubs and run the rear with a bolt on cog and swap out axle.
Yeah this is what I'm doing, using a pair of black Shimano front disc hubs.
Adding to the fork discussion; I'll more than likely be copying Zdrenka and going for the Quantec.

This thread being at the top again reminds me that I meant to ask which one of you bastards got this frame over me. I'd had my eye on it all week long!

Ordered some Archetypes last month (while they were still in stock) but found out a couple of weeks later that my order had been quietly updated as 'awaiting stock' and the Archetypes had been marked out of stock on the site.
Now yet another week has passed and I'm not getting any responses to my emails where I'm asking for a refund so that I can order them from somewhere else :(
Any Advice?
