@mdcc_tester wonder if you would help. frames with italian thread require bottom brackets with 70mm shell width but will it make any difference if i get a bb with 68mm shell width? plus, is it true that Shimano bottom bracket like this one has italian thread made in a slightly different way and therefore it may not always fit? could this also be true for french bb maker like Stronglight?

yeah, but have you seen the delivery charges http://www.internet-bikes.com/en/index.php?p=shipping-costs : * (
thank you for your comment on the bike, it really is more fun than the ones i had previously cause drop it, hit it, scrape the paint off, damage the frame, crash it, it does not worry me.
did some burnouts in olympic park today testing the new crankset

sorry @Smolders i went with something from ebay. it was for 13£, fit like a glove. if you are implying they are copy of paul cranks, they are not, i tell you.

through thick and thin, i managed to have myself a working basket.
i cut the rear rack to find a shape in it that would easily attach to fork and basket.
attached the shape using heavy duty ducktape.

using copper wire and shoe lace i fixed the badly damaged bottom of my plastic basket.

everyday shopping is made easier.

my broken crank arm had 46t on its chainring, which allowed good speed+comfort, so contrary to suggestion i went with 46t cranks. it is on the way.
moreover, i installed a 17t freewheel for extra comfort.
after drilling a hole and scraping off some metal, installed a rear brake for more stopping power. used a front light holder to secure the brake cable on the frame. it feels great being able to drill, cut, scrape the frame cause it was cheap.

plus some stickers made out of industrial duck tape.

would love to stumble upon a discarded metal wire basket somewhere, someday.

was on a bus recently and grabbed a city a.m. newspaper to pass time. read this article about brother cycles http://www.cityam.com/214084/london-crowd. found ms green's ignorance about fixed gear bikes amusing.
