wishing to sell my Simoncini race bike.

Built with 90% NOS parts...

I purchased this bike off the original owner and he's used the frame for 200 miles or so built up differently but soon after he built it like this. I haven't done anything to it other than keep it clean, it's never been ridden built up like this.

Frame + forks have absolutely no cracks, dents or bends. No corrosion issues anywhere on the frameset, very very few small chips to the paint (it's chrome underneath so super easy to chip). Chain has never been dropped or slapped against the stays etc etc

This has been built by a professional mechanic before it was left under a cover for 15-20 years unused. The hubs spin forever, everything is tight and feels smooth, it's ready to rock should you want to use it.

Colnago rep frame. Actually quite a high quality frame, not sure what it is. Campagnolo ends and pretty lugs. Does have a very small kink under the top-tube and seat-tube lugs as if it's gone into something. Frame is straight and fine other than this small part. Comes with unbranded headset and shimano 600 BB

Nearly any road bike can look badass with a slammed stem, gumwalls and stupidly petite wheels.

Carradice saddle bag. Used condition, this has sat in a shed for the last 30 years so could do with a bloody good clean. All buckles function, the leather straps still feel fresh and all rivets have some surface rust but they are very secure, if I were doing a round the world trip I'd have no problems trusting this bag.

1 very small tear underneath the bag but small enough to not cause any problems.

Comes with some sort of rack, this was on the bike I took it off but I can't for the life of me remember how it was on!

Those wheels are so goddam pretty

I did take this off the market but I've got a few other projects I'd like to resurrect so this has to go.

Recently received new brake pads on the front and rear wheel is a Mavic Aksium matching the rear. Tyres pictured are knackered so I'll be putting whatever usable tyres I have around.

Bar-tape recently replaced but it's crap and always comes off so I'll probably send it out with no tape.

No cracks, dents or bends. Small amount of surface rust under the top-tube plus some chips from general use. Rear stays, BB area and steerer are chrome so fairly sure the whole frame is.

Comes with 8 speed period correct Campagnolo Avanti rear mech, which could do with a clean but functions perfectly, original to the frame. Also included is the upper and lower headset race, again original to the frame.

@BrickMan many thanks for the kind comments, appreciated.

We followed the client's orders so I'm guessing the frame already had internal outer cabling so all the mechanic had to do is feed the inner cable through. I've seen pictures of the frame built up and it looks superb and the cable stop screws have not been touched.

@hugo7 yes this colour is available to anyone.

We're still working out pricing as it's a stupidly expensive colour to make (we import pearl from Japan) and the extra work involved in painting it, but we can quote on a case by case basis.

@giles337 it's very hard to describe but knowing something has been done by hand just makes things a whole lot more special and personal. I absolutely love the custom car world as I spent most of my childhood around my Father painting racing cars and hot rods or at Santa Pod watching them race. I'm trying to introduce more of the custom world to the cycling scene as fades and complex masking can get a little boring. We're working with some of the most skilled sign writers in the world at..... I'm going to stop before I say too much. Watch this space.
