Fuck 'em, don't let it, neither is a proper cycling club.
EC1 can't enter proper races due to its membership criteria and RCC was conceived purely as a vehicle for selling more expensive clothing to people who are easily swayed by marketing.
The people who join are bigger idiots than those that don't. If they feel the need to pay £xxx to make them feel part of something, or to feel superior, more fool them. -

Think they have a store in the south west now, where all that stuff is sold.

Also, each store seems to have a small quantity of that type of stock. -

That sucks! Stockport PC said the same to me a few years ago (coincidentally how I discovered Ashton; they were the only local PCer with that grey powder I like [7000] in stock at the time). A bike will only use a few hundred grams of powder (EDIT: incl. wastage, still def. less than a kilo). Presumably, if the colour is similar to a more popular one they already have, they're unwilling to order 5kg of something they may not get another order for. Also, maybe their equipment is set up for 5kg buckets, i.e., that's the smallest (or only) size of container that can be used with their equipment (and they CBA dispensing 1kg into an empty bucket because cleaning/contamination/... They must have decided in the past that it's more hassle than it's worth).

Nice!
Definitely don't drill a Wing Pista; there's no solid alu part inside the crown area underneath the carbon; it's a true monocoque. Also, the distance from underside of fork crown to crown race is very small (around 15mm IIRC), so not much material there to begin with before severing fibres by adding a 6mm brake hole.
