I'm in exactly the same situation, for the same event.
I'm also a particularly sweaty bastard so need plenty to drink.
Bought a cheap 2l 'BTR' branded hydration bladder (£7, incl. a cleaning kit, after discount code and arrived free the next day) and sewed a little adjustable webbing neck strap to it to facilitate putting it on/keeping it from sliding down my front. Trimmed the hose down a bit and works very well, no neck irritation (under skinsuit with a Wiggle sleeveless mesh base layer), but just ordered a 90deg valve from eBay because the straight one requires a longer hose. Was going to test it out properly at the WVCC 25, with about 700ml inside, before it was cancelled.
Also got a Shimano Pro 'Aerofuel' rear saddle bottle mount thing, which is just going to have tools, Pit Stop and a rear light attached to it. -
Amazing effort @skinny, congrats!

Conti SS tubes also aren't too reliable. Have used for many hours on an indoor velodrome no probs (which in hindsight was a bad idea) but managed to flat on the 3 mile ride between Chorley train station and some hill climb I rode last year, in the dry, in July (with Conti SS tyres, that are pretty good at resisting flats).

A Ceramicspeed naming jibe, and also potentially a parodical seatstay sticker :-)
Just PTFE (as dusted on their fancy one) so not even ceramic, ha (frauds!), and probably even less lubricious.
Been playing with and testing wax mixes for a couple of months, and now think I'm happy with the current formula. There's PTFE in there too (among other things); standard Friction Facts recipe, but with a few tweaks.
Next I need to make a 'Squirt Lube' style top-up liquid to help prolong life between reflows and reapplications. Might save time and just buy some Squirt lube, but no DIY = no fun.
Chain is a KMC z510HX.
Cost per treated chain (including chain, excluding time/labour) is probably about £7.50. -
I know, but it's also difficult to prove you conform to 14(a) with cross tops.
If people get away breaking 14(a), why not try breaking 14(b) instead/as well?
