Looking for 5 spacer washers to go between the granny and the middle ring for a shimano XT m730 crank.

Bought the cranks last week and didn't realise they need 5 spacers.

Anybody got some rolling around?

Thanks, I have considered that. Just thought I would ask as it would be ideal if somebody did have one hanging about just to keep things the same. Just getting a standard ring will be the next option.

In as good a condition as possible. New Old Stock would be awesome!

Please let me know if you have one hanging around gathering dust. Also if you have a 26t granny ring may be interested, will makes those hills in the lake district a bit easier!

Looking at both of these bikes for long distance touring, both 531 frames 21 gears. Both in good nick.

Is one regarded as considerably better as a tourer?

Cool. The super champs seem to have more good written about them. Most likely I will sell the other set. Any idea what to ask for the Alesas? They are in good condition, with newish tyres.

I have got 2 sets of wheels, I know little about both-

-Wolber Super Champion Modele 58 with pesillier hubs. 700c 36 spoke. 1990's

-Alesa 617 and a Wienmann 617 shimano rx100 hubs. 700c 36 spoke. 1990's

Which set is best? This is to stick on my tourer?

I wanted it raw, so it was a clear powdercoat. I think it's the same price if you want a colour though. I didn't manage to get there last week and I gotta wait til thursday to pick it up now. I'll post some pics then

Not changed the chain/cassette block, was gonna get a new set of wheels with hub and cassette block already on.

Here they are. Will keep an eye on ebay for some old 105 aero levers.

and the brakes are dia compe, just the levers are wienmann

Just realised the brakes are cantilever, not centre pulls. How do these usually compare to side-pulls/centre-pulls? They worked ok on the c2c though I took it pretty easy on some of the mega steep descents. Way of the Roses in August!! :D

Cool, I think I will keep the exage stuff for a bit, and if it feels like it needs changing will go for some retro Deore DX stuff, for which I have only heard good reviews. I think I may keep the triple crankset though, as this seems in really good nick.

What would you recommend about aero-brake levers? What is the difference?

My brakes are centre pull. Are there any centre pull ones you would recommend?
