Good points there, I may have to either replace them or go with a shorter stem as there's a 3t 110mm on there at the moment. Reach felt ok on my mock up fitting but it's probably going to be too much once I get hoods on there.
Maybe someone would be interested in the bars for what I paid for them? They're new and unused as the bike isn't finished yet and you don't have to wait a month for delivery.

Don't know about removals but I have used HH van hire a few times. Just over 50 quid a day for a transit

My daily has developed a clunky knocking noise. It happens in the same place every crank turn but only when giving it the beans.
1/ is it the bb, chainring, bolts, something else?
2/ how many more miles before the bike and/or I die a painful death?

They're alright, not stiff though, quite flexy in the drops, 6/10 wouldn't buy again

It's geared so I need force or rival or something. Whatever is cheapest but they all go for silly money on ebay. Everything is second hand on this build so I'm not going to be paying £200+ for new levers.

It's been surprisingly affordable so far but now comes the expensive bit, levers.

New ch-enve bars and installed front mech and new star nut in the forks. Not long now. much excite.

I did it last year fixed and brakeless, did all the climbs and descents.
You'll be fine single speed. I ran 48-18 as a ratio, very spinny downhill, theres some fast parts but I managed.

Funny that all I posted was a picture of a flourescently clogged cycle lane with the caption nodders paradise and everyone loses their shit. I even stated I'm glad more people are getting into cycling and that I don't say anything to other road users nor intimidate or patronise them. I pass safely and obey road laws.
But I get that it makes you feel great taking the moral high ground over the Internet from the safety of your keyboards.

I just used electrical tape on my last wheels and they've gone 2 years without a puncture or anything. On fancy carbon wheels you may want something more proper though I guess.
