Just had a quick look over the bike, front wheel is definitely fucked. I think the forks are a little bent but unsure, planet x saddle is torn and bent and I've just newly noticed that in coming off, I've pretty much pulled apart my speedplay frog pedal on the right.
Will I be able to get all this replaced despite buying most of it second hand?

I unfortunately didn't. It was only for the witness who came straight over and told me to get the reg in case he bails. I was shaking like a leaf and in total shock.
By the time I got out of A&E and took a trip to the dental hospital limehouse police station was closed and I didn't want to pay tfl to take me to another one so I'm going in today to add details to the report. Police already have a description of what happened and the guy's reg.

Anybody have experience with a lawyer? The cycling lawyer on here seems to not be active in a few years. I can't afford legal fees so it would need to be on a no win no fee basis.

Been knocked off my bike this morning. On the cs3 near limehouse, car pulled out from a junction into the side of me.
It was give way his side of the cycle lane so I had the priority but he "didn't see me" and pulled out hitting my front wheel.
I was going probably about 20mph and luckily I just landed on my face.
Got his number plate and pictures of his car but he told me to call him and tell him the cost of repairs and he'd pay up.
Got the number of a witness too.
Reported to the popo, going in after a&e to add details to the case.
Stitches in my chin and a couple of chipped teeth, my knee is also pretty achey but I think it's fine

Internal ch-enve cabling done for the brakes but how on earth you're supposed to get gear cables through once there's brake cables in there I've no idea. Maybe I'll tape them together and see if I can do them at the same time.

I thought saddle nose should be close to in line with the bb anyway. Doesn't look too far forward, I prefer my saddles a little further forward than "standard"

105 cassette and force shifters turned up today. Waiting on rival brakes in the post and then I've got chain and bar tape left to finish the GT.
Bar tape colour? Silver frame, all black parts but I have pink and blue decals possibly going on.
Also, chain spotters, worth it?

I'm not telling customers anything. Nobody buys them because they're the same cut as non selvedge and no amount of anti fray edges is worth an extra 20 quid to them.

My product knowledge training says no. In reality I've no idea nor am I really bothered.

Well they're not intended to be but my mum told me she got him some nice jeans recently from matalan so I knew he needed some help.

I work at jack wills and we do slim selvedge jeans for £90 but I just got a pair for my dad for £35. They look decent to be fair.

The last piece of my 95 GT Edge build is the brakes. I've got a mixed group of red/force/rival so looking for brakes of one of these but I'll look at any other brand so long as they work well with this application (force levers).
